Relax and enjoy peaceful and leisurely cruise across the river Zuari towards Mormugoa Harbour. (Asia’s second largest natural harbour) catering to Goa’s busiest and main Iron Ore Industry. One can observe the activities of Iron Ore barges, transhippers and Iron Ore Carriers, besides fishing canoes and trawlers.Once across the Harbour into the Arabian Sea, we approach the dolphin’s playground. Here’s where the pods of Bottle Nose Dolphins are sighted.

Once the dolphins are sighted, you will have the opportunity to spend time watching the frisky dolphins frolicking about in the Arabian waters. Engines switched off, if necessary, so as to give you ample time and opportunity to watch the dolphins. There is excellent scope for challenging “catch them in the act” photography. Pods of dolphins cruise the shallows waters using their sonar system to hunt for fish and crustacean buried in the sand. Sometimes they get attracted by the sound of the engine, and will suddenly pop up along side of the boat to have a look at you.

Ensure your cameras are fully loaded to capture these magnificent playful mammals. The boat will then cruise further south towards St. George Islands. Here are two Islands, the main island ‘Grande’, being the larger of the two, and Base to the Indian Navy. And small Island ‘Pekkeine’, also nicknamed ‘Bat Island’ being uninhabited and home to the common fruit bats, (the Flying Foxes) and other birds of prey. White bellied fish eagle, and reptiles, like snakes and lizards.

We take to some selected spots around the Islands where the waters are much calmer and cleaner. The gamblers at heart who want to try their patience, skill and luck with the sea will be provided with some basic fishing material and bait, and can set out to entice and coax the fish to bite. Fishing is so much fun; we encourage Catch and Release. While others the more energetic, bold and adventurous who can snorkel can set out in the cool shallow crystal clear waters, exploring the mysterious underwater world. Snorkel gear will be provided to those who don’t have one.
